Eligibility & Prerequisites
Do I need prior coding experience?
No. Programs are designed for beginners. We start from fundamentals and build progressively.
Is there an application or screening process?
Yes. We review all applications before confirming enrollment. We're not looking for technical credentials — we're looking for people who are serious about committing to structured, cohort-based learning. The application is a short form with a few questions about your background and goals.
Can I apply if I'm not in Toronto or Canada?
Yes. doors2ai is delivered online. You can participate from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. Live sessions are scheduled to accommodate multiple time zones — details are provided after your application is reviewed.
Do I need a specific background or degree?
No degree is required. Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds — business, design, healthcare, finance, and more. What matters is your motivation and your willingness to do the work.
Schedule & Format
How much time per week does this require?
Expect 6–10 hours weekly including sessions, exercises, and projects.
Is this part-time or full-time?
Part-time. The programs are designed to run alongside existing work or study commitments, though it does require consistent weekly time. Students who try to rush or skip weeks find it harder — the modules are intentionally sequential.
Can I go at my own pace?
No. Programs are cohort-based and follow a structured learning path. Live instruction and guidance sessions are included, and recordings may be available if you miss a session.
What happens if I fall behind?
We work with you. Missing a week occasionally is manageable. Consistently falling behind may affect your ability to complete the capstone. We recommend treating it like a commitment, not a subscription. Reach out early if life gets in the way — we'd rather help you catch up than have you quietly disengage.
Curriculum & Learning
What tech do I need to participate?
A laptop (Mac or Windows) with internet access. All software used is free or has a free tier. Module 0 walks you through every installation step. You do not need to install or configure anything before your first session.
How is the Agentic AI curriculum different from other AI courses?
Most AI courses teach you to use individual tools in isolation. We teach you to build full systems — with typed state, orchestration, retrieval, governance, and delivery as an integrated whole. We also explicitly correct LLM misconceptions before building on them (Module B), which most courses skip entirely. The capstone is graded and requires a production-grade deliverable, not a demo.
Will I get a certificate when I finish?
Yes. Completion certificates are provided after successful project completion.
What tools and frameworks will I use in the AI track?
You will work with Python, VS Code, OpenAI APIs, LangChain, LangGraph, vector databases such as FAISS or Chroma, Pydantic, Streamlit, and Git/GitHub. Tooling may evolve to reflect current industry practices.
Pricing & Payment
Are payment plans available?
Yes — for the Agentic AI flagship program. Instalment options allow you to spread the cost over the duration of the program. Contact us before applying to discuss the options available for your cohort.
What is the refund policy?
A full refund is available if requested within the first 5 business days of the cohort start date. After that period, tuition is non-refundable. If extenuating circumstances arise mid-program, contact us — we handle these on a case-by-case basis.
Can I stack the programs and save?
If you complete one track and enroll in the next within the same year, a returning-student discount may apply. Contact us for current details — this varies by cohort.
After Graduation
Is there job placement support?
We do not guarantee job placement. Our focus is on practical training, real projects, and portfolio development so learners can demonstrate credible skills for modern software and AI roles.
Will I have access to materials after the cohort ends?
Yes. All curriculum materials remain accessible after your cohort concludes. Community access is also retained so you can stay connected with your cohort peers.
